Components intro

A basic webpage is constructed of a heading, some paragraphs, some images, and some links; you see header text, a nice banner and a few nice boxes of content.

The image is of building blocks; using simple building blocks we can create incredible sturctures. In a similar way, complex webpages can be constructed using simple pieces, such as images and boxes with text.

In our Content Management System (CMS), we call these blocks "components". Components are the constituent pieces of a page, e.g. a Banner, News Cards, a Details Link. Using the building blocks - components - we provide, you can create a webpage that automatically conforms to Rugby Australia media guidelines.
